Mennonite Homemade jams, jellies, pickled beets, and pickles are available from the church for $4.00 per pint jar (sugar-free jellies are also available). Buy them for gifts or personal use anytime the church is open. The profit from these sales benefits the Helping Hands Food Pantry. The food pantry was started in 1996 with the help of local individuals and has gained the support of some local organizations, churches and clubs over the years. This community support truly makes this a COMMUNITY MINISTRY that helps people in need. Supporters include: Lone Jack Schools, the Lone Jack Branch of the U.S. Post Office, the Lone Jack Branch of the Mid-Continent Library, the Lone Jack Civic Club, Lone Jack's Police and Fire Departments, the Lone Jack Historic Society, the Lone Jack Baptist Church, the Hope United Methodist Church, Elm Spring Baptist Church, and members of the Lone Jack Christian Church. ![]() |
