Meet our Pastor

My name is Jack Michael, presently serving as pastor for the Lone Jack Christian Church (DOC). I began serving God in the 1950's as fill-in for various churches in the Kansas City area while working full time in the business world, until 1968 when I became full-time minister at Pleasant View Christian Church in East Independence. I had Served this church at different times and was able to help them build a new building in 1965. I served Pleasant View until 1978 when I took the Christian Church in Gulfport, Mississippi minister position. After I returned to the Kansas City area in 1980, I served the First Christian Church in Buckner and retired from there in 1983. I had the pleasure to serve Shawnee Park Christian Church as Interim in 1985 after which I began as part-time Pastor for the Greenwood Christian Church where I served until 1995.

I believe I need to preach the Good News of Christ as the Savior of the World.

I believe you deserve to hear that Good News to the best of my ability.

If you are living in the Lone Jack area and are looking for a church home, we would like to invite you to make your church home with us! Our worship service is on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. We provide a Children Worship & Wonder program for children age 3 - grade 3. This exciting program helps young children with limited experience to learn about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit through Bible stories. It also helps them to feel God's presence in their lives!

We are dynamic, vibrant, committed Christians who are ready to accept, love and serve you in Christ's name. Please join us and experience the life-giving and transforming presence of our savior, Jesus Christ who loves you more than you could possibly dare to imagine!
