Mission and Goals

To be ministers of reconcilitation within the world as established in the Bible:
+ To worship and journey together as a family of God,
+ To grow in discipleship and service,
+ To share our faith with others,
+ To work for the unity of all Christians, and
+ To engage in the common task of being ambassadors of God's Kingdom here on earth.
+ Establish a Long-Range Plan
+ Strengthen Christian Education
+ Foster Spiritual Maturity
+ Develop Commitment to Evangelism
We are called to participate in God's continuing work to bring people into life-changing relationships through Christ Jesus.

As Disciples of Christ, "we have no creed but Christ". Christ is our creed. Our only requirement is a belief that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, and Savior of the world. Membership is by baptism of immersion or by transfer of membership from another church. We emphasize:
* God's saving grace offered through Jesus the Christ
* open-mindedness in all other matters of faith
* open communion shared every Sunday
* the essential oneness of the Church (all denominations)
* that all Christians are called to some form of ministry
